Subject: 95 dakota starting problem IP: Logged
Message: I have to crank my 95 Dakota truck about 3 times before it will turn over. I have tuned it up and have no performance problems. This only happens if the truck sits for a few hours. Short stops at the store or running errands, the truck starts fine. I am wondering if the fuel pump is allowing the pressure to bleed off from the rails. Can anyone tell me if they have had this problem before I go and buy a pressure gauge?

Message: I am also wondering if my fuel injectors are weeping fuel. I havent noticed any black smoke on start up. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks
