I HAVE A QUAD CAB WITH A 5.9, I HAVE 100000 MILES ON IT NOW AND GOING TO CHANGE THE PLUGS, WIRES, ROTER AND CAP. IT HAS THE DOUBLE PLATNIUM IN IT NOW, AND SUGGESTIONS ON ANY OTHER TYPES THAT WOULD BE BETTER, OR COST LESS

first, hit the caps lock button! next, you're kinda screwed when it comes to platinum plugs, as they are more expensive, and usinga cheap plug can cause some serious problems, but hey, think of it like this, you shouldn't have to change the plugs out for another 100K... mine, aren't platinum, and are done every 30k, so the costs are about equal! thats why the platinums are more expensive, they last three times as long.

The other option you have is the new iridium plugs. I have just put a set in mine. I was not going to use them but when I went to O'reilly's they had some NGK iridiums for just $7.00 a plug. Have not had them in for too long but are running fine. I also understand that they last a long time and do a bunch for performance. I went from Bosch +4 plugs to the iridiums, did not notice a huge power dofference, but it seems to be running a little better.
