Message: Justin it's TPS not TBS. TPS stands for throttle position sensor. It's the sensor mounted on the drivers side of the throttle body. It's not adjustable from the factory. You have to remove it and drill out the brass inserts VERY VERY carefully so you can turn it to adjust it. This is a very fragile part and can be easily destroyed with a drill so be careful. Also clean any particles off it after drilling. You will need a good digital voltmeter to do the adjustment. Before you do it you should check your TPS voltage. It might be fine. There is alot of posts out there by guys that don't know what they're talking about that say just adjusting the TPS made their truck ALOT faster. BULLPUCKY!! I experimented with mine and found anywhere from .68 volts to .75 volts made no difference for power but above .71 volts the idle was a little unstable at times. Would drop real low then rev back up. Although if it is lower than .64 the truck can be sluggish at low speeds.
By the way to check the TPS voltage you connect the voltmeter ground to the battery neg. term. and the voltmeter positive wire to the middle wire of the throttle position sensor. Turn the key on and read the voltage on the meter. Of course have the meter turned on to a low voltage setting.
