 Subject: Exhaust tips with best sound

I was just wondering if exhaust tips make any difference in the sound of your truck? I was looking at the Jegs catalog and I noticed some have resonators and some don't, what's the difference? This is probably really obvious but I don't know. So thanks in advance.

Tips don't generally change the sound. Resonators are basically a muffler, straight thru with baffles that alter the sound. They can either be used in conjunction with a primary muffler, which is usually straight thru or no muffler at all.
