Anyone have a Kenne Bell Supercharger and have a problem with the "Knock Alert" System? Mine goes off at idle. The first green LED flashes on and off, and the audible alarm almost continuosly beeps. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if/how they fixed it.

THat's really wierd. YOur kenne bell is not blowing any boost at the motor at idle. YOur motor must be knocking at idle for some reason. I would think maybe bad gas or a bad plug. Maybe it's just a bad knock sensor. I would have no idea how to check that. What does it do as you drive or really get into it??? What motor??? i hove the 2000 4.7 auto with the kenne bell. I dont' have any audible on mine, just the lights.

Are you using premium gas? If not, run it almost empty and try a half tank full.. running a supercharger effectively increases your compression and sylinder temperatures so you may be getting pre-ignition which would require a higher octane fuel to resolve.

I doubt you have spark knock @ idle. Not familiar w/ the KB unit but my J&S recieves its info. from a block mounted knock sensor. Either the sensor is picking up false signals or the sensitivity adjustment (if it has one) is way too light.
