I would suggest adding the tow package. You'll get extra engine and accessory cooling, better mirrors, better alternator, and the hitch with prewired trailer connections. If this is your first truck, you may not think you'll be towing anything with it, but you'll be surprised at all the opportunities to use your truck as a truck. The extra capacity afforded with the towing package will be nice to have then.
I really like the convenience of the steering wheel mounted audio controls, and the manual tranny is the way I'd go.

i know you would probably like to stay in budget if you have one but i agree with modain and for 50 dollars i would 3.92 gears. most peple wish they had them if you can.

Everytime I have gone to the Dodge website to "build" a 2005 that is equivalent to my 2002 QC I am perplexed as to why the 3.92 gears aren't available unless you go with a 4x4. Some things just don't make any sense (unless it's a bean counter thing).
Oh yeah, as daddio pointed out: 22 gallons? Come on!
