 Subject: Transmission Sensors

Hello,
I'm new to the board - thanks for reading. I've had a '99 5.2 V8 since maybe '01. This year I had to get 2 sensors replaced that relate to the transmission. One was called "speed control" and the other "speed output". It just dawned on me - I wonder if those were the same sensor? I had each sensor replaced at different places. Does anyone know if those are 2 separate sensors, or did I just get the same sensor replaced twice?
