when i start my truck 309 v8/1997 i have to hold it to the floor and when i let off gas it stalls out i can drive it till it warms up and sometimes it will stay idleing sometime wont any sugg. please reply thanxs

Then have your charging system checked, your battery is probably going bad. I'm assuming you have a 318/5.2L V8?
