Message: If you have a digital camera, take pics before you start disconnecting things. Depending on the age of your truck be prepared to replace vacuum hoses. On my 92 they were pretty brittle. Also pick up a bypass hose. It is buried underneath the intake and behind the accessory bracket. You will need to disconnect it in order to swap manifolds - might as well put a new one on as it is a royal PITA to get to if it leaks. Take your time and don't rush. Mine took the better part of two days to do, but that was also on a 12 yr old truck and I had to run to the parts store several times for odds and ends. You might also want to pick up a new heater hose nipple. My install kit only came with a nipple for the bypass hose but not the heater hose. The old one was basically corroded into the old intake. You also may need a new TB gasket as well. I did an oil change after I got everything installed since you will get some coolant into the oil.
