Message: Here is a silly question. The TB Spacer will raise the air filter about an inch, that means that it will no longer fit under the hood. Is there a scoop kit os something. ALso, I used a Edelbrock 10" open air filter with a 10"x3" K$N and got AWSOME gains, but it is a TIGHT fit under the hood, is there a different air filter or am I missing something? Even my stock air filter box was rubbing the heat insulation on the hood.
Any help will be appreciated.

Message: If this TB spacer is gonna sit between a carburetor or throttle body injector(s) and an intake manifold, then go for it.
Otherwise get rid of it. It adds nothing to engines with sequential or multiport fuel injection.

Message: Sorry Mean I have to agree with the others. Toss the spacer they do nothing for our Daks. Then you'll have plenty of room for you air filter. If you really want to help performance put a cold air intake on it

Message: hm.. what about a spacer, used in conjunction with an m1, and large turtle?
just curious for myself.. and maybe some others out there...
ya figure the spacer increases plenum volume, while the turtle decreases it.
now, with the turtle helping channel air better, would it be such a bad idea to put a spacer on to regain that lost volume?
hmm....

Message: I haven't heard anyone ask that question. And its a good question too. Theoreticaly, it should work exactly as you said. Im curious to hear from someone who has run one on an M1.
Cal Dak is right. Great for foggers on a dry system. However, the position of those foggers lend itself to the "ka-friggin-BOOM" scenario.
