Subject: RE: 4.7L exhaust IP: Logged
Message: I decided to hold off on anything but a K&N drop-in and a cat-back. I originally (and against the advice here on this board) went with a 50-series flowmaster catback on my 2002 QC 4x4 SLT+, but the interior resonance @ 1900-2200RPM was too annoying, and really so was the general sound (I don't like to draw attention as I come down the road when not OTG).
So, last week I switched out the flowmaster for a nice Spintech proXL, which took care of the interior resonance nicely. Sounds really sweet, too--spintech's motto "kill the noise, not the thunder" is certainly true!

Message: I currently have a 4.7L Quad with a jet chip, k&n intake, flowmasters cat back 1 in dual out shotgun. I was wondering if I will be better to get a bettere xhaust and make one out to the side be better than shotgun.
