Last night I pulled up next to a newer model full size lexus that I'd seen racing people earlier in the night. I had made up my mind that I was going to try to teach them a thing or two w/my '99 cc r/t. (slightly modified) The light turned green and I guess I had gotten on it a little to hard and I just stood still spinning the tires. The lexus zoomed off the line leaving me in it's dust. BUT, the car at the stop light in the opposite lane turned out to be an undercover police car that quickly made a U turn and pulled over the lexus. The road was slightly wet so my wheelspin made no noise so I guess he didn't think I was trying to race. This has to be the only time I've ever been that happy I'd spun out at the starting line.
