I'v heard that they can cause a serious case of piston slap for the vehicles that they are installed on. But, they are installed mostly on Chevy's so it could be thier crappy engines. Use it at your own risk.

I would check my local laws before doing something like that! Mixing parts like that is illegal in some places ! %^)
Seriously, if the shoe fits, wear it. But why can't you use the dodge housing in the 1st place?
