Might want to ask them to reserve the parts for your repair - some of us have had problems with dealer using our parts to fix someone else's truck and having appointment cancelled at the last minute.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way

Has anyone out there had major problems with there front end shimmying, countless wheel alignments and odd wearing of the brake drums, now they have fixed the recall and I can barely steer, and the Sales Manager says that it is because I need new tires. I only have 52,000 km on my 2001 and without the front end problems, I am sure that the tires would have been good for at least another 10. Does anyone else have the same wear problems?

Thanks for the input Kowalski, I got them both done, one yesterday and the other this afternoon. No problems!!! I asked about warranty for the new ball joints and they said "for the life of the truck", I liked that, so I guess I'll keep it forever.

Hey Dodge girl, 52000 sounds like a pretty good life for your tires, maybe the manager is right. As for me, no wear problems, no shimmy and my brakes are just fine.
