I have had one of my dash lights on for some time and the code signifies it is one of the O2
sensors. I think it is the right rear.

Is it a big job to change that out?

I've got a 1997 that only has one catalytic converter and had to replace an O2 sensor...

As long as you can get a wrench on the sensor it shouldn't be to hard. Only thing is they rust in the exhaust pretty good sometimes and it takes a bit to get them out... Letting it soak with penatrating oil will help. It is also good to put some anti-seize compound on the new sensor threads so it will be easier to take out if you ever have to replace it again.

Changing the sensor is pretty easy. Spray PB Blaster on it 2-3 times a day for about a week. Then slip a box wrench on it and unscrew it. Pretty easy.

However, there are a lot of things that can give you the same code. Even something as simple as a stuck/dirty injector. So if you replace the sensor and clear the codes, and the light is still on, don't be too surprised.

It's a really easy job. Just unhook the sensor and make sure you get the right sized wrench. You might need a helper bar for more leverage if it is rusted on real good.
