I dont know where to begin with this stupid engine. I had a miss from day one and it has been at three different mechanics and a bunch of backyard mechanics and no one can figure out the problem. It has been put on the scanner and said 1,7 injectors are malfunctioning so i replaced them and the same problem still. I want to get rid of this fuel injection crap and move to carburation. If i do i will overhaul my whole motor or buy a differnt block. My question is what does it take to turn this truck into carburation.. like for electronics and such...

I have the constant miss as well, but have tracked it down to a blown manifold pan gasket....

How many miles are on the motor? Burnt valve maybe? Cracked valve seat? Do a compression/leak down test to see.

As for electronics, it depends on what year it is. Naturally, the older the less involved it is.
