Subject: Engine flushing IP: Logged
Message: I have a 02 4.7L and was wondering what would be the the best way to clean my engine out. I have heard of a few ways to do this and whated to know experiances others here may have with the products.
I am wondering what would be best to do:
1. Use Auto RX
2. Use sea foam
3. Get the oil flush treatment from dealer

Message: Do the one from the dealer. I work at a Chrysler dealer and we have the one made by BG Products and it works. If you do this make sure its made by this company. They make some quality stuff.

Message: I used the Auto-Rx treatment and was very impressed with it. I liked that it worked over time and was safe with all oils. It seemed to really quite down my noisey lash adjuster which to me says that it was plugged up with carbon or other debris. I reaaly just did it for peace of mind since I'm aware of the sludge factor with the 4.7L even though I service mine every 3-4K miles.
