 Subject: 92 5.2 cc 4x4 runs rough @45-52mph

maybe you guys can help me,this prob only happens from 45 thru52 when im easy on the gas,if i step on it it doesn't happen ,it also wont happen with overdrive off.It's not misfiring or popping just getting a bad shudder from the engine like the mix is not right{just a guess},this prob started last monday when i had the exhaust replaced got a new cat,ran without for the last four years,i cleaned my iac that didnt help ,it idles perfect and runs smooth at all speeds except those mentioned so it rules out the cat being too small, i dont want to start changing sensors that dont need changing,the problem is constant at those speeds if you slow down it repeats if you stay in between those speed the motor feels like it will shake apart this never happend before the cat so i believe its emmisions related, no check engine light and no codes stored(when i check it just tell me 55) my maintence required light is on(has been for 6 yrs)199000 miles on the truck help me out guys or gals please! thanks shawn

Im not sure if it applies but there is a TSB about the spark plug wires being routed a different way. ill see if I can find any info.

The TSB about the plug wires does not apply, but I did find one about the distributor. If you have a fax number or an email I can send it to you. It also probably wouldn't hurt to do a tune up (plugs wires cap and rotor.) email me at turbogbody90@aol.com

disconnected my o2 sensor and took it for a ride same prob no change,bought a new egr valve and installed no change.is overdrive controlled by vacuum, it doesnt happen w/od off,

This fix seems a lil scary to me,cutting into the relay pack is not somthin g i want to try at this point. i appreciate the help, thanks again
