 Subject: blower fan only blows hot

I had the same problem as everyone else, the blower only worked on high, then nothing. So i pulled out the resistor pack and it was corroded. I moved the broken one over one notch on the same pin connector and it worked fine.
The other day it was in the 50's so I turned the temp setting to cold (blue) and it blows hot air just like the red side. What happened? How much is this going to screw with my A/C?

Check the tempurature control cable. It runs from the HVAC control to the temp door in the heater box.
