Message: Is it worth getting the mopar PCM, that’s all I want to know? I have a 99r/t with the FIPK intake and duel exhaust on it, and searching around on the site no ones leaving anything with good information on if its worth the $350 plus entering the vin for $35 and then shipping cost to get it. If not that then what’s another good mod that I could get for about the same price. Also I guess my brother knows a guy that did his car that will burn me a custom chip for my truck to work with my exhaust and FIPK, and dyno tune it for around $500,or I could just go in the totally different direction and just order a nonfunctional ram air hood so let me know what you guys think about this.

Message: Get the Superchips 3715 Micro Tuner. It has a 30 day money back guarantee if you don't like it. It's suppose to provide impressive gains for the 5.9L engine.

I think the mopar pcm was the single best thing I did for my truck. It really woke it up. prior to the pcm I had a fipk and gibson cat back. Since the pcm I have relocated the iat, installed msd ignition, and pph headers. It seamed like the pcm gained me the most performance.

Message: I bought a mopar pcm for my 99 r/t and it was bad from the factory. So I went back to the dealership and after a few go rounds with them they told me it was my problem because mopar does not warantee performance parts. With all this said, I will go with the superchips programmer this time.
99 r/t
just looks stock

Message: yeah now pretty much im just thinking about getting a system in my truck, i mean the chances that the mopar pcm wont work seems high if you get it from a dealer and all that, and i'm not really going to do anything more other then what i already have on it, so if the moneys gonna go somewhere, might as well know its gonna work with the sound system.
