Message: My dakota engine dies when hard brakes are applied. Tach goes from 1100 to 700, gulps and dies. It only seeems to happen when the brakes are pressured hard, such as a stoplight. Moveing to nuetral and a slow stop seem s to keep the engine going. We have replaced the fuel flow sensor and no help. Have any ideas? Dodge didn't even charge me for a dianostic fee, as they could not help. Nothing reads out on the computer.

Message: Check tranny fluid level. Low level can cause the torque converter to not unlock.
