cheap mods - air filter, make your own CAI - cold air intake.
Install a 180 t-stat. Autolite 3923 plugs. Relocate your IAT sensor from the intake manifold to the intake tube. Buy a used TB from a junkyard, then port/polish it with a dremel.
Those are your cheap mods. More expensive include an M1 intake, rockers, new cam, heads or port your own, 3.92 or 4.10 gears, ignition upgrade and a supercharger.
