Message: I need some help locating a few things. Where can I get the best price on a mopar performance torque converter? The best I have found was KRC for $250. Also, I have seen a few r/t's with weld wheels on them. But I can't seem to locate any wheel distributer that can get me these. One more question, has anyone had problems with the flex a lite electric fan's? I want to buy one but I live in South Carolina and it can get a little toasty here in the summer. Thanks for your help.

Message: Check www.mopartsracing.com. Website shows $240, but it may be cheaper if you call to check.
Best fan options on these trucks are a viper fan conversion - complete kit available from www.socaldakota.com or a Lincoln MarkVIII fan. With the Lincoln you will need to fab mounts and such yourself. The viper is a drop in solution with all the wiring, relays, etc that you will need. I would stay away from the flex-a-lite fans on our trucks. A BM150 will be OK, but too many people have reported failures with them for me to be comfortable, especially in a high temp climate like CA.
