My truck has 41,000 miles, I want to do a little tune up. Oil spark plugs. Things like that. Should i go with champion plugs but a step hotter.

On Oil i'm looking at chostroel. Is there any suggestions. Should i do plug wires. Would it help any at all?

Tell me if any of u have any ideas. Or comments.

Yes, it's time to do all that. I'm a fan of Autolite plugs, but Champions are very good, too. Unless you're having a problem with fouling (doesn't sound like you are) stick with the recommended plug. Set it to factory recommended gap, apply a little anti-seize, and torque to specs. No sense messing with a good thing.

Plug wires are up to you. The factory 7mm silicones have lasted this long. 8 or 9mm wires on a factory ignition system is kind of waste of money, but certainly won't hurt anything.

At the same time, put a new cap and rotor in. Us a quality product here, don't skimp and try to save a dollar.

Purolater is my favorite filter, and Mobile 1 5W-30 is my favorite oil.

Don't forget to check the PCV valve. You might also consider cleaning the throttle body.
