It's really easy. On the drivers side front fascia there's a square hole that looks like a tow hook would fit (but doesn't). If you look in that hole, you'll see a loop of rubber tubing and a round dial-looking object.

Pull the top half of the rubber tubing loop off it's stub, and aim it towards the bucket.

Grab the dial looking thing with a pair of pliers, and gently pull straight out. You'll feel the "click" when it does. Spray a little penetrating oil behind the dial (WD-40 is not a penetrating oil). Now rotate the dial counterclockwise about 190-200*. It should drain in to the bucket.

Thank you very much.
Now I can put the front end back on the truck.
By the way, next is the ATF change. Any other "like" tips that can save me some time and trouble?

John

I found the drain and got about 1 gallon of drainage, any suggestions on how to encourage the release of the remainder?

Buy a Prestone flush kit or the like. They are only like $5 at Wal-mart. You will be amazed what comes out.

If you have a 4.7, there is a drain plug on the block you have to remove to get the rest.
