Nah, that type of smoke ain't hard to do with stock (hard compound) tires. 1-2 minutes max.

the only reason i used it is because it creates

Big Whoop! My R/T can sit and spin both tires on dry pavement until the tires melt off the rims. But what's the point. Sounds like just another V8 wanna be. By the way, 5.9 is definitly the way to go.

IntenseDak39....if you REALLY wanted to go fast, you should have never gotten rid of the Shelby Charger.
For a fraction of what you have in your Dakota you would be running consistent low 12's. All day long.

i know.... ::::wipes away tear:::: ...i didnt want to get rid of her but i needed a more reliable vehicle and my dad wouldn't let me keep em both. i was having problems keeping the drivetrain together and was having trouble keeping it a daily driver.... damn 275+ horsepower on a 2000 lb. car!
glad to see another one that knows the value of a shelby... when my dak is paid off i will buy one and make it a trailer queen.
but a V6 dak that does 8.95 in the 1/8th is pretty damn rare (estimated low 13s)... getting a turbo for it soon and building my own kit... that will bring back the shelby memories :-)

Whats the big deal about burn outs?? Im sure over the course of any ammount of time any vehicle could get em to smoke. Esspecially since the ass end of a truck is so light. I could probably get em to smoke in my old 83 grand prix with alittle water and a few hours of holding down the gas pedal. :P

If your looking for amazing things that sixes can do... there was a Turbo T-Type(sixer)(no NOS) at the silver state classic back in 98 that won at 205 mph. That was in an old G-body too.

LOL. I used to work for a bus company. The guys working the fuel stand would lay down lay down ATF, and do burn-outs with buses!
Incredidbly, the boss never caught them, despite the fact that the garage used to fill up with tire smoke like the building was on fire.
BTW, Sic, the V8 powered buses did more impressive burnouts then the V6 powered ones..

Sicminds still has yet to grasp the fact that vee suxes are inferior to v-8's.
But in sicminds case, we're talking about defective gene splicing so its too much to expect him to realize his poorly assembled grab bag of nuts and bolts he calls a motor is just nothing more than a boat anchor with spark plugs.
