I have a 1992 Dakota with a V6 Magnum and was wondering if i could get some info on putting in a 318 V8. It is an automatic with a carb if that helps.

If you have a magnum engine (and 92's on up do) you have fuel injection. That throttle body sure looks like a carb though :)

I am replacing the V6 in my 92 with a V8 from a 94
and I am having problems with the wire looms. The V8 came with the control box and the engine wire loom, but the two looms do not unplug from the body the same way and the trans lead is different. I also found that the control cable for the T.body is not the same. If someone has done this swap I can use some help
