Subject: Loss of Heat! IP: Logged
Message: Last thrusday I was setting in my truck at idle w/ the defroster on full blast and all the sudden it got quite. When I press the buttons for the legs, arms or the defroster all I here is a quite hiss then it goes away. I'm not sure if the blower motor has crap out. It's a 1995 V8 5sp 4X4 Has anyone had a similar problem? HELP!

Message: with the key on,push the fan speed switch to off,[the one on your dash]than push the switch to high,can you hear the fan turning?if not then check the fan resistor under the hood pass side firewall,two small screws holds it,it has a 4wire plug,about $15 dealer

Message: Tanks for the advice about the fan resistor. I check it out this sat and see if that will fix the problem.
