Subject: Gear question? Please help!!!ASAP IP: Logged
Message: Ok I know this is getting annoying but I have to ask the same question again. I went to go get my 4.56's and locker installed and the people at 4 wheel parts doing the labor are convinced that I will need some sort of speedo correction to make the tranny shift on time. The times I have asked this before you all have told me that on the '00 and up you dont need calibration. Is this true? If so will someone tell me how this works? How could the speedo auto correct itself? Has anyone changed gears on an '00 or above? Did you have to get any programming? I'm just very worried they are right and I'll be picking up a truck that doesn't shift properly tommorow.
