Any info on mild lift kits for 2001 and newer Dakota trucks from Rancho, etc... I quess the rack and pinion changed the difficulty in doing a 2 or 3 inch suspension lift.

How much lift ? If you only want a couple inches like the old post you piggybacked on to, you can get pretty close to that in the front just by cranking up the torsion bars. Then some shackles or even better, Roadmaster active suspension in the rear to even it out. You'll want to have your alignment checked after the front height change.

Rancho 3" kit can be found about anywhere for $1300-$1400 if you install it yourself.

I would like to put a 2-3 inch body lift kit or body blocks on my 2004 dakota quad cab, just to have a little clearance, for the tires i just put on it. I put 265-75-16 tires on instead of 265-70-16, it only changed 1 inch but there rubbing on the wheeel liner by my front bumper please help me to counter react this. maybe just trim the liner i don't know?

i just bought a 2006 dodge dakota and i am looking to get it lifted 3". i found a body kit for $300 on suspensionconnection.com but i am wondering if a body kit would look ok. also i am looking at 17" rims. If i go to that size with my wheelwells not being very spacios, will i have room to throw some bigger tires on there.

I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab 4x4/Awd (not 4x4 and 4x2) with a 4.7. I want a lift, I already have 33's, a brush guard, 6 KC lights, a Warn 8000lb winch, roll bar, Team Realtree Camo vinyls, straights, and a stereo. My friends call my truck the Deerwagon, and girls down here LOVE it. All I'm lacking is a lift. I want to put at least 35's, but the Rancho lift isn't compatable with my truck due to it being all wheel drive instead of the basic two and four. Any help is greatly appreciated. My default picture is my truck covered in mud this summer, my name is Jonathan Lee. And if you want the camo, look up Camoclad. It looks great on a brown/pewter truck like mine, but if you get the permanent vinyl and put it on the top, it fades in a few years...and gets expensive to remove. The sides have lasted ten years though and are still bolder than my Carhartt jacket. Thanks.

have a 2000 dodge Dakota sport 4.7 V8 4x4.
I want 3-5" lift and I have independent torsion bar suspension.
I know that no one makes one that fits the 2000 but that make
one that fits the 1999 Dakota. Can anyone tell me why that
wouldn't fit? And if it won't fit could I do some cuts and welts to
the kit to make it fit the 2000 Dakota? what would you
suggest?
