Message: i have a 2002 dakota qc with the 4.7L i bought the truck used from an elderley couple with only 20,000 miles on it, not bad for a two year old truck(at the time of purchase) anyway, my check engine light came on randomly at about 37000 miles(i think, i dont quite remember), the truck still runs fine. a buddy of mine is a mechanic and he has a snap-on diagnostic tool, but he only had up to the 2000 update, so that didnt work, any how, long story short: i did the on-off thing and got the code p 0601, i looked it up here online and turns out its an internal computer error of sorts. i cleared the code just to get that annoying light out of my face, but should i be worried? what does it mean?
