Message: if your pressure drops to nothing and your light comes on,you have serious problems. get it checked via a mechanical gauge at least, and like yesterday!

Message: Mine did that. The whole no pressure at stop then a some pressure at high rpm's. Lasted a good year now the engine is in the back of my truck. Bummer!
Like people said drop the oil pan , either clogged screen or bad pump.
Good luck!

Message: At warm idle, my 4.7 drops to about the low end of the "normal" range of the gauge, then up to the high end at anything over 1000 rpm. Is that a screen / pump problem in the making?
