Subject: New Intake System... IP: Logged
Message: I was just browsing around ebay, when I found a good cold air intake system. (By a real company) AFE - advanced FLOW engineering, inc. Their stage II intake system routes the air filter right behind the rubber flap everyone removes to get cold air in. The problem with 4.7L's is every company places the filter in the corner, like K&N or right off to the side, like Volant or 360z. I believe this is by far the best design, I was just looking to see if anyone had use this intake system. I'm going to crap up enough cash and see if it works on the 3.7
Here's the link to AFE

Message: If you lived where I do, your filter would be covered with snow, salt and all manner of road grime before you even got a mile down the freeway!

Message: 3" black PVC pipe, some 90* bends, rubber connectors with band clamps and cone filter would be way cheaper and work as well.
