is the recall just going to replace the worn ball joints with new crap,or are they going to be new design like the moogs with zerk fittings.if so when can we expect to see the new balls.anyone got any idea?

I just bought 2 used dakota's, a 2000 ext cab and a 02 sport 4x4, a week later I find out about the recall. I call the dealer, they tell me I'll hear from dodge by mid January and If I don't to call them back. Sooooo, I assume it will be real soon.
