Message: Both. Spray a little PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench on there every day. Tap on the plug with a ball peen hammer after spraying. After about a week, it should come loose by applying a little heat to the area around it, but not to the plug.

Message: Consider buying a new plug to replace the old one when you get it out. A well-stocked auto parts store may even have a replacement that has a hex head, or maybe a square drive (like toyotas).
