 Subject: Won't Downshift

OK so I got a complete valve body for my tranny and I know that I put it in right....the problem is that my transmission will not downshift into first at a stoplight!!!! It can manually go into first but will not do it automatically...
I replaced both the governer pressure and transducer NO HELP.....
I adjusted the TV cable.....NO HELP
What in the world is it??????? I have a completely new valve body and two new sensors but I have not replaced the OD solenoid because of expense...the tranny worked good before I did this......what could have happened??
It always wants to start in second and the shift timing is way off, when I adjust the TV cable it only seems to affect OD...
PLEASE HELP!!!!!

OK maybe i missed something,but why did you change the valve body if it worked OK before?
