I just read an article in truck trend. here is the

Do all the 2003 reg cab r/t come modified? I have a 03 reg r/t and never noticed all of this stuff.

i heard about this before, that theyd be doing the extras to the engine & whatnot for the last 50 (or something) r/t dakotas that are made, that they would come off the assembly line with the m1, cai, better exhaust etc.

pop your hood, take a look at your air intake, valve covers, and intake manifold. you'll be able to tell if its one of the modded ones

this modified r/t is like the perfect truck to buy. it comes with a perfect baseline to improve upon. it already has the r/t heads a slightly better cam and the m1 manifold so its basically all ready for a nice supercharger, or basically any other mod because the more serious mods are already done. its too bad every dakota r/t ever made wasnt like this. man i wish my truck came with this setup stock. i bet even a set of mopar headers and no cats will really wake this truck up!! best thing of all, your getting all these mods with a warranty.

Its not true. I have a 2003 flame red regular cab R/T, and I have the beer barrel intake manifold, stock intake box, regular valve covers and all. So I know its not all the 03's or else I got ripped off.
Also for all those extra parts they should be running some better times than "14.9@93.3". I am running 15.09@89.7 w/lakewood traction bars and a K&N FIPK
