Message: I would have to agree with the Magnaflow, the sound is great. I got a Magnaflow muffler with custom bent tubing for my birthday and I have to say that it was close to the best birthday present I have ever received, I now have a smile on my face every time I start my truck.

Message: Steve, et al,
I've removed the third cat on my 01 4.7, and it sounds a bit meaner, a little louder, etc. That third cat is restrictive, it has a fine mesh screen across the pipe at one end!
My question was, I'm about to have true custom duals mandrel bent for my DAK. I'm leaving the cats on the headers, and coming off from there. With better mandrel bends, better flow, etc. the stock Y pipe knda comes forward, for about a 110 dergree bend. I'll put about an 80 degree in the drivers side, and them parallel with the pass side, etc.
I'll need two replacement mufflers. I'm looking for a good, long term muffler, that will fit side by side in the space. ( I have a quad cab, with a manual)
This sounds like the ticket, you think?
