Subject: K&N FIPK Kits IP: Logged
Message: I have a 93 Dakota Club cab with a 5.2 V8. I want to open up the air flow but the only thing I can find is the K&N 57-1501 open air filter type. I live in AZ and it gets really hot here and I am worried that sucking in all that hot air will not be good for performance. Does anybody know a better solution? Why does the newer Dakota FIPK's not fit it? I dont mind some mods, or even a home brew if anyone has them.
Thanks guys

Its a 97 up cold air kit that you can use as long as you get the 97-03 air hat but hughes sells them for $60. Hope this helps you out there in AZ.
