I just phoned some local autoparts stores in Edmonton Alberta, and I can't believe the prices for new injectors. $150 canadian each!!!!!! For $1200 i can get a new engine almost. Why the high price? Is it the same in the U.S.?

Check e-bay too, there are usually sets for sale for about 100 bucks or so (used).

I got a set of 2004-2005 4.7 injectors for $75 on eBay. Used only 3,000 miles. Looked and worked like brand new.

Doesn't the Canadian government make you pay BIG taxes on imported items? And don't you pay huge sales taxes on just about everything?

Yes, but the taxes arent in the range of 400% though. I can buy the injectors in the states for 300 canadian, and the same injectors are 1200 canadian in Canada. We pay taxes on things but not that high

You are in Alberta, everything costs at least twice as much as anywhere else in the western hemisphere.
I'm in Calgary, even worse pricing here.
