Message: Hey Bernd,
I didn't know if you saw my response on the other post, but are you thinking about working up a stroker kit for the 318's? I've heard that Tom at KRC is working on his 318. If you do I may wait a while (and save some cash) an talk about it later.

Just think...I could say "Hey, I dropped a 350 in my Dakota!" Think that would unerve some people?
whatever stroke I do go with, it will be prepped for running a decent amount of boost...he he he!

Message: use the same crank as the 406 with 30 over pistons and you have yourself a 390. Now that sounds sweet. I talked to Crower, Hughes engines, and Marty at KRC. This will work. Very nice setup. I can't wait till my truck is paid for. I already have changed and upgraded every part except for the CRank, Piston, and Rods. It should definitely be NASTY with my T-trim. HEHEEHEHE

That and .030 over pistons will give you the full 390 c.i.d.

Message: Tom,
Sorry about the mix up...I really thought you were at KRC, my bad! Who's making your pistons? If the finished product turns out good...Will it turn into a Speedtweaks Kit. I think it would be a good product, since you all would have dibs on selling an entire kit.
Hey, us 318's need some "luvin" too.

If it isn't a total nightmare to do, a kit may be in order...
I might not go with that long of a stroke(4.00")... just depends... might go with a 3.60" stroke making it a 351... Remember, I plan on running a considerable amount of boost on this engine, too... ;-)

Message: Bigger injectors will help...plus a larger throttle body... I'd also go with a Mopar PCM or a custom flashed PCM... maybe a Hyperspeed(my first choice) or Split-Second box to help with the fuel management...
also an M1 intake and Mopar Performance RT heads...
