I have always like the bosch 4 platinums, however they do not make the 4s for the dakotas. They do come in the 2s.
I have found the 4s though do make a noticable difference as well as the 2s

By the recommendation of one of our shop technicians, I bought and installed the Mopar Performance plug wires. We tested the factory wires, then the Mopar Performance wires for resistance. The factory wires were near the maximum resistance spec (with 50,000 miles on them), the Mopar Performance wires were at the minimum spec resistance. They are better insulated and are supposed to last 100,000+ miles. I did notice (maybe it was only in my head) a slightly quicker throttle response. Now, with 95,000 miles, still going strong.
The only drawback so far...they are Barney purple in color.

I see no specification of engine size. I assume when someone asks for recommendations on brand of plugs AND wires, they have an engine so equipped.

Don't shop for a brand. Shop for a type.
The best type plug wires I know are graphite core with a full wire wrapping around the core. Very little resistance, no static in the radio, and should last for the life of your vehicle.
