Message: I picked up my new aftermarket sway bar bushings today at the part store. I also picked up some super lube synthetic grease to use with them for installation. Is it ok to use this synthetic grease or should I use the anti-seize. I hope these aftermarkets are better than the ones Dodge put on. Any info would be great thanks.

Message: Use the synthetic grease that comes with them. Never use standard petroleum based grease on poly bushings. Do they look any differant than the factory ones?

Message: What kind of synthetic grease for poly bushings?
I'm putting in poly bushings soon w/zerks so
would like to know what type of grease. Synthetic
Mobile 1 (red) grease? Preferably something that
is for a grease gun.

Message: Something that won`t wash out, those bushings see a lot of weather. Aluminum based is best, most any marine grease would work. Mobil advertises a synthetic lithium thats wash out resistant(blue I think, but it could be red).

Message: I just installed a set of eurethane bushings on my back sway bar and they came with real thick silicone grease, sticky and think like molasses in winter. I guess the thick silicone grease won't push out or wash out. The instructions didn't say anything about not using other greases, just to use the grease that came with the bushings.

Message: My new bushings didn't come with grease. The Grease I bought for them is a Synthetic Lubricant with Teflon. It states that it is excellent with Rubber, metal and plastics. It resists the dirt and salt. The Teflon prevents the dirt and road salt to work its way into the grease and it repells water. There web site is www.super-lube.com.

Message: I use to install a lot of urethane bushings and Teflon grease was the lubricant recommended. It seems to stick longer to the urethane. Petro grease didn't last long and the bushings would soon start to squeak.
