Message: I have the Borla Stainless installed on mine. It took me about 4 hours total to remove the manifolds, eat a couple sandwiches, install headers. The JBA headers are nice, but are larger due to the equal length tubes compared to my Borla's. I am not sure what the Gibson's look like. The JBA's may be more of a challenge. I was able to do most of the work right through the fender well. The gap between the fender and frame was just enough space to squeeze my headers through. Make sure you let then engine reach temp and then cool back down, so you can retorque the headers before you drive it. Otherwise, you'll blow a header gasket. I also replaced my factory collector bolts with stainless steel ones. I hope this helps.

Unfortunately, no. Just the headers. I like my Borla's. I can't say they added a ton of horsepower, but they sound a little nicer than the stock manifolds. I wish they offered them ceramic coated from the factory. I am going to have mine Jet-Hot coated. If you want them to stay looking nice, that's the way to go. Borla's customer service is somewhat lacking. If you ever need replacement gaskets, order them from JBA. That's where I needed to get mine.

Message: you're right about the customer service. i emailed them over a week ago asking about the y-pipe, with no response. already looking into HPC coating them black. higher temp coating than ceramic, as well as doing a high flow cat at the same time (thanks to DUNER's epic post on 4.7 mods on another board!). already have the following mods....
2000 4.7L quad 4x4. AT. 3.55 trac-loc. borla single exit cat-back. 4" home-brew CAI. leach PCM. 180 t-stat. 70mm F&B TB. roadmaster active suspension.
for manifold gaskets, maybe i'll get JBA's if borlas look cheap. copper collector gaskets can be found at summit racing.
