 Subject: 2001 Dakota RT Clone For Sale

I have a 2001 Extended cab lowered dakota. 5 Speed and 3.92 posi-track. Custom hood, Rims, carpeted bed liner, tinted glass, borla headers, flowmaster exhaust, throttle body etc. etc.
Ordered this truck new with every option from the dealor, have all receipts. Truck is garage kept and cover, has never seen rain or snow only has 17,000 miles on it. Must sell so somebody is getting a truck that is better than new and quicker than a stock RT. Check out my website and email or call if interested.

If you went to his website, it's a 4.7, auto tranny like an R/T no doubt.
He's got a Jet stage 2 on it! LOL, now thats funny!
And what's up with all the R/T badging?
Why didn't you just get an R/T, if that's what you wanted so badly?

Oh, I see in your post it has a 5 speed, and in 2001, the only 5 speed was the real one.
Nowadays, everyone posts they have a 5speed, when they usually mean they have an auto, with a computerized 5 speed.

You think putting RT badges on a 4.7 is bad i know a guy that put the badges on his V6. That's pathetic. He's got the Cowl induction hood on it as well. His rims are the cheapies that come on the V6's. Anyone that know anything can spot this scam from a mile away. I just don't get it.........

Sorry but dont you feel weird (lack of better term) driving around in a wannbe fake vehicle? I'd rather let my engine to the talking for me.(at the track of course)..
My Honda (yes honda) says dx (base model) and shows all it's dx'ness in glory, get me out on the track and it should say (if I were to follow your lead) corvette z06, Yes I race those cars and yes I beat them, not all the time because I'm not a perfect driver...I never claim my car is anything but a civic dx coupe, ask me what under the hood and im more then happy to show you. I've got nothing to hide, esp since the intercooler is bright, glossy and chrome, cant miss it, it takes up the whole front grill and then some.

Why would you doubt a 4.7 with 3.92 gears and a manual transmission would run with an R/T ? You might want to do a search on that; its well represented that they do.

His clone looks very nice. Hell I have an R/T, and I'm saying that. Hey man no one cares about your Honda or Z06 corvettes. This is a dodge site. By the way if you all notice Bills post says "better than new and quicker than a STOCK R/T". I find that in no way offensive to an R/T owner, and I am sure he is right. I also own a 2001 quad cab 2 wheel drive 4.7 auto. It is pretty quick, but not as quick as my R/T. With a five speed and a few mods I'm sure it would give my R/T a good run. Don't doubt the 4.7 its a potent little motor and gets decent gas mileage too. My R/T-15, 4.7 -20

If anyone wanted a "REAL" R/T, they wouldn't be driving a truck. Dodge has put the R/T emblem on all kinds of junk over the years. Just got to love that Dodge Spirit R/T. How about the Intrepid R/T? Now there's a real winner.
Personally, I think those that built up their own performance vehicles are more deserving of the R/T badge than those that went out a bought it.

Are you saying that any truck that can deserves the RT badge?
Like ed said, most RT's don't run 14's out of the box. I'm not saying that they aren't fine trucks. I think Dodge makes a great mini-van, but I don't want to see an R/T mini-van either.

some time, cus the 03 R/T the last year of the
R/T had the M1 intake, 2.02 heads, and cold
air intake.....and out of the "box" moter trend
got the 03 to a 14.8 in the 1/4 mile
