I am building a 408 stroker for my dakota and I am wondering what lenght connecting rod to get on KRCperformance I see they have CNC connecting rods but it doesn't tell the lenght on their website. What size should I get?

Depends on the piston height that you are going to use. The piston height is the distance from the center of the piston pin to the top of the piston. The connecting rod length is figured by measuring from the center of the crank pin to the center of the piston pin at top dead center. You also have to figure if the piston is designed to be above or below the deck at top dead center. A stock 360 (5.9L) has a piston height of 1.596", connecting rod length of 6.123" with a stroke of 3.58". A stock 360 piston is .090" below the deck at top dead center. Hope this helps. Dan

I forgot to give you the stock 360 block height which is 9.6". To figure rod length use this formula. (I used stock 360 specs to show how it works)
Rod length =
Block deck height 9.6"
Minus 1/2 of stroke 1.79"
Minus piston compression height 1.596"
Minus piston height (below deck) .09"
Equals a rod length of..........6.124"
