hi, i;m changing my 93 3.9 5 speed 2wd to either a 5.2 or 5.9 . i;m switching my ax-15 tranny to the nv3500. All i want to know is what year engine and tranny i should get from the junk yard. i'v heard i should get the same year as my truck. Is that right?

92 to 95 should be ok..
Don't forget to get motor mounts , computer , etc.

thanks, but the motor mounts should be the same cuz they will both be magnums. yea i'll need a new computer from the v8 and i am planning on splicing in for the 2 extra injectors.
