Check for a blown intake gasket. New plugs, wires, cap and rotor if you have not already done so. Consider a new coil too. EGR valve may be bad. When did you replace the cat? If it is clogged you will have bad driveability problems. O2 sensor may also need to be replaced. Check your IAC and MAP sensors in the TB. Hope this helps.

Message: Thanks Sneezer
I had someone look at my cat, and its ok. The next step is the plugs wires and cap and rotor. I bought them last night and will put them in this weekend. I'll keep you informed.

Message: Well i replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor, and now it's running worse than it did before. When it's idling its fine but when I start to drive, its almost like its missing or not getting enough fuel. Before you say it, i checked the firing order and everyhting is good that way.
Any thoughts????

Message: Make sure the wires are not bunched up anywhere and there is nothing laying on top of the distributor. When I did mine, a vacuum hose got misrouted and ended up resting on top of the distributor. It was allowing spark energy to jump from the wire, resulting in extremely rough running. Once I moved it I had no further problems.
One other thing to maybe look into is the fuel system. The 92 does have a fuel filter located in line underneath the drivers side door on the frame rail. It might be clogged enough to cause problems at speed but flow well enough at idle.
Any evidence of a leaking intake gasket, or did you already have that repaired? Does the IAC sensor at the back of the throttle body need cleaned?

Message: Found out that its my fuel pump. $300 for a new one. My fuel pressure is around 30psi, way too low to sustain fast acceleration.

Message: Changed my fuel pump on the weekend and it has never run better, what with the plugs and wires and cap and rotor being changed, it runs so much better.
Thanks for all the help I received here. It's appreciated:)
