My 97 SLT has developed a water leak in the oil.
I am looking for a short block or complete engine. I just did a head job on it and it didn't seem to help.
Maybe block or timing cover.
Either way I need to get this thing repaired.
Short Block, Timing Cover or complete engine in Charleston, SC or close in.

Check out www.uneedapart.com. I ran a quote there a month or so ago for a 360, came back with a lowest price of $650 shipped with 3 month warranty for a complete engine.

I had the same problem with my 95. Ended up being the timing cover. It had hairline cracks in a few places. Unless $ is not a deciding factor for you I would at least try the timing cover. There is a good thread with pics on this site.

Did you buy a new cover or salvage cover?
