Message: Does anyone out there know if any reputable company makes a rebuild kit for the Magnum 318's? I recently bought a house and my spending money has went towards other things...like the house. So my dreams of a stroked small block in my '92 will have to wait for a little while. On the other hand, I hate to think I've wasted my time setting up the rearend and things like that...Only to have a worn out 5.2 setting in the engine bay.
I'm thinking of rebuilding the 5.2, adding the M-1, and maybe some NOS for a little street strip fun. Then once I get settled in the house a little more, I can focus on the stroker. Heck, at least I can enjoy a few seasons at the strip, be competitive, and not have a big wad in the engine.

Message: There's a lot of different options for the 318...including a stroker kit. However, finding 318 forged pistons is difficult at this time...unless you go with custom forged pistons ($600+).

Message: Hey thanks!
I was beginning to worry that no one would respond to the post.
Hey Bernd,
Will Speedtweaks ever work up a stroker 318 kit? I've heard that Tom "Slick" is currently working on one for his truck right now. Will it ever be a kit offered to the public? If so I may wait a little while and see what you guys come up with, not to mention, save up some cash!
